“Last Chance County” is a stream of consciousness written from the brain of my 15 year old self. I used to ride the bus a lot as a teenage girl, through my economically depressed college town in the 80s, and felt the frustrations and vibrations of people struggling through crummy jobs and difficult situations. We all wanted to get somewhere else. It’s sad and funny to me that 30 years later that voice of frustration still rings true for so many in our country. - Corin Tucker
